We chip a lot of trees every day across Southeast Wisconsin. Rather than hauling that organic material to a disposal site, we'd rather put it back into the earth where it belongs. Fresh wood chips break down naturally, feed the soil, and return nutrients to the ground — the same way a forest floor works.
You get free organic mulch for your property. We keep it out of a landfill. That's a win for everybody.
Each load is 10 to 15 cubic yards of fresh wood chips — that’s a big pile, roughly the size of a full-size pickup truck bed times five. Make sure you have a spot that can actually handle that volume before you sign up.
Fresh wood chips are excellent for garden paths, around trees and shrubs, vegetable garden walkways, natural play areas, erosion control on slopes, and decorative landscaping. They break down over time and improve soil. Many homeowners request multiple loads per year.
100% organic material — fresh-ground wood chips from the trees we removed that day. We run several jobs daily across Southeast Wisconsin, chipping various species as we go. Because every load comes from whatever we worked on that day, we cannot guarantee the species, mix, or composition of any given load. Expect a natural blend of hardwoods and softwoods, mixed chip sizes, and possibly some leaf or bark material depending on the time of year. Nothing is colored, treated, or chemically processed in any way — just raw organic material going back into the earth.
Yes. We’re careful about surrounding structures and landscaping and will adjust our approach to protect them. Let us know about any concerns when we come out for the estimate.
